Guidelines and Conditions

  • Deadline for Call for Submission is Sunday October 13th at 12:00 midnight.
  • Installation must be setup by Thursday December 12th at 4:00 pm and cannot be taken down until notified by event staff after 8:30 pm.
  • Installations must occur regardless of weather. Artists will be notified by staff in advance if event is cancelled.
  • Re-numeration is possible. Please include full budget details with your application.
  • Power is limited and artist will need to provide their own electrical cords, mats and covers.
  • Installations must be non-denominational, must abide by all Health and Safety standards, and cannot deface/alter any property (example: cannot anchor into bridge).
  • The final installation on event day must be as close to the original concept submitted.
  • The Artist must provide supporting documents and photos of concept with the Call for Submission.
  • City of Cambridge will not provide; volunteers, supplies (ie. barricades, items from parks etc.) or asistance with setup/takedown.
  • City of Cambridge has the authority to make changes to requested location and concept of installation at any time, including day of event.
